Robert Michael DeWitty

Robert DeWitty is a registered U.S. patent attorney with more than 15 years of experience in the field of intellectual property acquisition, intellectual property protection and intellectual property litigation.

Mr.DeWitty has developed specialty working at the US federal level, relating to Intellectual property cases.  Serving as defendants counsel, Mr. DeWitty has successful defended against default judgments, applied dismissal motions on behalf of out of state defendants, and participated in hearings before the 7th circuit, 9th circuit, and Boards of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Robert’s experience includes serving as a legal consultant in the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), serving two terms in the US Patent and Trademark Office (Office of Petitions and patent examining art units), and holding the position of Intellectual Property Specialist at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong SAR).

Robert is an avid sailor and golfer.
